Terms of service

1. Account opening

Accounts are available only to Australian residents aged 18 or older, and only to persons physically located in Australia. Identity and age are verified through identity documents under the AML/CTF Act 2006 (Cth) before any wager is accepted. Funding by consumer credit is not accepted and is restricted under the Interactive Gambling Amendment (Credit and Other Measures) Act 2023.

All new accounts are screened against the National Self-Exclusion Register before activation. The Register operates under Part 7B of the Interactive Gambling Act 2001 (Cth) together with the National Self-Exclusion Register (Cost Recovery Levy) Act 2019. Registered customers cannot open or hold an account.

2. Settlement rules

Markets are settled on the official result declared by the relevant controlling body. Detailed sport and racing settlement rules are published on the Sports and Racing pages and form part of these terms. Where an event is postponed, abandoned or materially altered, affected markets are voided and stakes returned unless the relevant market rule provides otherwise.

3. Limits on stakes and maximum payouts

We may apply minimum and maximum stake limits and maximum payout limits to any market. Limits applying to a wager are those in force at the time the wager is accepted.

4. Funds segregation

Customer funds are segregated from operating funds in accordance with the licence conditions issued by the Northern Territory Racing Commission.

5. Anti-fraud, collusion and integrity

We prohibit fraud, collusion, the use of inside information and any conduct that compromises integrity. earlycrown operates under race-fields agreements with the relevant Australian principal racing authorities and cooperates with them and with Sport Integrity Australia on integrity matters.

6. Inactive and dormant accounts

Where an account remains inactive for an extended period, we may apply our dormant-account process, which includes contacting the account holder at the recorded details before any further action.

7. Termination and account closure

You may close your account at any time by contacting support. We may suspend or close an account where required by law, by a regulator, for integrity reasons, or for breach of these terms. On closure, any remaining balance is returned to source following identity and payment checks.

8. Use of customer data

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Tax

Wagering winnings are generally not subject to Australian income tax for recreational customers. Customers are responsible for assessing the tax treatment of their wagering activity in their own circumstances.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited as set out in these terms. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy conferred by the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.

11. Dispute resolution

12. Variations

We may vary these terms from time to time. Material changes are notified through the site or to your recorded contact details. Continued use of the account after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
